EPR PRESENTS: Kelly Alvarez Mural Artist In The Making

A mural can transform a space into one of community and uplift the hearts of all who walk past.

Now imagine the effect of a mural in a classroom.

With the help and guidance of audio/video production teacher Francisco Sanchez who understands and advocates for creative communication through visual art, students in the audio/video production class at Eagle Pass High School began production of a collaborative mural.

This project was a combined effort of many talented individuals including Kelly Alvarez as lead design artist with Annayram and Maryanna Garcia as supporting artists.

The mural aimed to encapsulate the synergetic culture and environment of the audio/video classroom while also tying in various representative elements of the city of Eagle Pass and our neighbor city Piedras Negras. To encapsulate the journey, the entire process from start to finish was documented through the photos, videos, and video blogs included in this article.
