WHS Students Ace Hunter Ed Course
Congratulations to the CC Winn High School students enrolled in the Wildlife and Recreation Management Course.
The students just completed the state required Hunter Education Certification.
In order for a person to hunt in the State of Texas, they must complete the Hunter Certification.
As part of the curriculum, students receive the opportunity to pick up the certification while they are in high school.
Wildlife and Recreation Management is a pathway offered at CC Winn through the Agriculture Science program, which is part of the Career and Technical Education Program.

WHS Silverline Dances into Thanksgiving
After a week of preparing their 5 routines for their 8th Annual Sivlerline Christmas Spectacular, the girls were excited to throw on their pjs and relax as they step into the Thanksgiving break.
A Longhorn Thanksgiving
The annual Thanksgiving luncheon at Juan N Seguin was a great success!
Thanks to the help of the Student Council members, the Longhorn staff experienced a delicious meal and enjoyable time together. Happy Holidays!
Stallions Investigate Statue of Liberty
They learned that Lady Liberty’s copper naturally oxidized to form its familiar "patina" green coating.
They had so much fun testing this out on their very own copper pennies.

Congratulations to Aidee Morales from Ms. Salazar’s class at Cerna for having passed more than 25 Imagine Math lessons two weeks ago.
She was gifted a goody bag with delicious snacks.

Congratulations to 1st place: Bryan, 2nd place: Sebastian, and 3rd place: Emilio in Mrs. Tellez' 1st grade class at Rosita Valley Elementary for earning their Imagine Math certificate.
Creative Writing in HBG
On November 17th, Mrs. Dominguez' 6th grade class at Henry B. Gonzalez got creative and festive with their writing!
The students worked on a Thanksgiving Writing Quilt.

On November 16th, Henry B Gonzalez 1st grade teacher, Ms. Salinas, held a Thanksgiving raffle.
Congratulations to Kevin Soberon and Nathan Garrido for being the winners of the raffle.
The basket contained a turkey with all the trimmings.

On November 16th, Henry B. Gonzalez came together for their annual Thanksgiving luncheon courtesy of PTO.
There were several flavored turkeys which were cooked differently along with all the trimmings.
There were also many different desserts.

Seco Mines students received a school surprise visit from Eagle Pass Parks & Recreation Department!
Miner Staff Appreciation Luncheon
Seco Mines' PTO hosted a delicious Thanksgiving Meal for all Miner staff in appreciation for dedication, time, and hard work for the Miner student body learning at Seco Mines Elementary.
The Miners would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Break! Thank you to the Miner parents and volunteers who helped out during the luncheon.

On Wednesday, November 16th, Cerna's Student Council members assisted with the Thanksgiving luncheon for teachers and staff.
The luncheon was a success!

They also celebrated their Thanksgiving feast and shared what they were thankful for.

Eagle Pass High School's Math Night was held on Wednesday, November 16th and it was a HUGE SUCCESS!
Parents and students turned out for the event and engaged in a fun, math challenging evening!
