Eagle Pass High School would like to recognize Child Development students for achieving their State certification as Community Health Workers. 85 students ranging from freshmen to seniors have become part of the largest group in the region to get certified.
These students mastered 8 core competencies in a period of nine weeks.
Along with their teacher, Mrs. Kristy Martinez and CHW instructor Mrs. Marlen Ramires, we congratulate the new non-medical public health workers who connect communities to health care and social service providers. Way to go!
