EPHS ENGLISH HAS SOMETHING TO SAY

Mrs. A. Cox's AP English III classes at Eagle Pass High School have been actively enhancing their writing skills by practicing commentary using expo markers directly on their desks.

This interactive approach not only fosters creativity but also encourages collaboration among students as they work together to refine their writing.

Engaging in such hands-on activities can significantly improve their understanding of commentary techniques and promote a dynamic learning environment.

Way to go Eagles!

EAGLES SEARCH THROUGH HISTORY OF MATH

Students in Mr. C. Santos' 3rd period College Algebra Class at Eagle Pass High School engaged in a comprehensive and enriching math research project recently.

By exploring topics such as higher dimensions, notable mathematicians, the history of pi, and ancient unsolvable math problems, they not only deepened their understanding of mathematical concepts but also gained insight into the evolution of mathematics as a discipline.

This approach fosters critical thinking and encourages a greater appreciation for the contributions of various mathematicians throughout history, as well as the complexities and challenges that have shaped the field.

 Congratulations Eagles!
