EAGLE PASS FFA SADDLES UP

 The Eagle Pass FFA Traveled to Texas A&M  University on April 11th - 12^th to compete in the Area X FFA Horse Competition. 

The students judged the following categories: Hunter Under, Hunter Seat Equitation, Ranch Riding, Stock Horse Pleasure and Western Pleasure. 

They examined all types of horses from  Halter Performances Mares to Performance Geldings.

This included their muscle structure, stance, conformation, cantering, loping and other different aspects of the horses.  

The team came in 9^th in the Area contest and were District Champions.  

Congratilons goes out to Coach Rebecca Mancha from CC Winn High School and team members: Adrian Rocha, Emelie Pedraza, Barbara Garcia-Villarreal, Emeilie Benavides, and Cesar Talamantez 

TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE

Glass and Pete Gallego Cheer joined forces at the Redline National Championships on Saturday, April 12th.

The Falcons and Lobos represented the EPISD Cheer community well!

Welcome to Silverline!

 

 CC Winn Silverline Director Mrs. Denisse Villarreal wanted to let her new 2025 - 2026 Silverline Dancers know how much they sparkle and shine on Friday, April 11th.

To welcome the girls to the team, each young dancer that made the team was surprised by Senior Captain and members in full drill regala!

Captain and Senior, Isabella Rodriguez, presented each girl with a beautiful rose, balloon, and most important Kendra Scott jewelry that shines as bright as they do!

It was quite the surprise for the girls and made them feel extra special as they are now members of the 35th Line!

GEAR UP GEARS UP WITH KTTT

On March 28, 2025, UT GEAR UP Coordinators attended the Tribal Education Division College and Career Fair at the KTTT Wellness Center. 

Coordinators met with parents and students and gave a brief introduction of the GEAR UP program and handed out GEAR UP merchandise

WHS ONE ACT WINNS BIG

Thursday, March 6th, C.C. Winn One Act Play performed their UIL piece “The Diviners”, written by Jim Leonard, Jr. and directed by Mrs. Angelica Camarillo, for Zone A Competition. 

They were selected as Judge’s Preference and advanced to the next level of competition, 5A District 28. 

Selected individuals were honored as well: Marcus Orta, Honor Crew; Dominic Guerra and Madison De Los Santos, Honorable Mention Cast; Andres Chavarría and Dalilah Hernandez, All-Star Cast!
