MJH Teacher Named Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic 2021 Grosvenor Teacher Fellow

Memorial Junior High is pleased to announce that their very own Alejandra Martinez has been selected for the 2021 Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship with Lindblad Expeditions and the National Geographic Society!

As one of only 50 educators selected from across the U.S. and Canada, she has been awarded this professional development opportunity that will allow her to bring geographic awareness to her 7th grade students at Memorial Junior High in Eagle Pass, Texas!

The Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship selects exemplary educators to embark on a life-changing voyage to one of the many remote and extraordinary environments the Lindblad fleet explores around the world. Once conditions allow, Ms. Martinez will embark on a Lindblad Expeditions’ voyage to experience natural wonders alongside an outstanding expedition team including marine biologists, geologists, historians, scientists, undersea specialists, and National Geographic photographers.

Congratulations Ms. Martinez and we can't wait to discover more about your explorations!

EPHS FFA DONATES DURING PANDEMIC

EPHS FFA is continuing with community service donations to the local food bank and animal shelter.

Mrs. Jenny Purcell, FFA Sponsor, is especially appreciative of the club's efforts to give so generously.

Great job, Eagles!
