WHS Library Hosts Book Art Contest

 The results are in!

Winn Library recently hosted its annual Book Art contest in which participants turned a book into a work of art by creative means.

All of the entries reflected great creativity and showcased many artistic talents.

The winners are as follows:

1st place-- Mariela Renteria with "The Swing"

2nd place--Rebecca Guerra with "The Doll"

3rd place--Kevin Maldonado with "A Japanese Inspired Home"

WHS Life Skills Students Job Train at Peter Piper Pizza

Tuesday, February 28th, WHS Life Skills students visited Peter Piper Pizza where they learned about working at PPP and spent some time job training.

Students constructed boxes for to-go orders and sanitized areas around the restaurant.

SME Lifeskills Dr. Seuss Characters Parade

Seco Mines' Life Skills students and staff put on their striped red and white hats in celebration of Read Across America Week and Dr. Seuss birthday this week.  

They marched the school hallway bright and early on Wednesday, March 1st.
