Tigers are Egg-cellent

Tuesday, March 27th, Graves Librarian Mrs. A. Libson announced Regina Rodriguez as the winner of the "Most Colorful Egg" Coloring Competition.

After reading the Fine Arts story "The Flying Machine " students wrote a brief summary of what they read and decorate an egg.

All eggs were displayed on the 6th graders bulletin board! 

The 6th grade Tigers did a super job in their coloring and writing; it was hard to pick just one winner!

Tigers Receive New Uniforms

Wednesday, March 27th, was a very exciting day at Graves Elementary for the Mighty Tigers Division II Baseball team.

Tiger Coach Sanchez stopped by campus with a big smile to hand out new uniforms for their new season! 

Their 1st game will be Thursday, March  29th.

Seniors Say Goodbye to UIL Academics

March 23-24, 2018, 19 C.C. Winn High School Seniors said goodbye to another high school activity: U.I.L. Academics!

C.C. Winn UIL Academic Coaches would like to bid a fond farewell to their Seniors.

For the fourth year in a row, the C.C. Winn Academics team have won District and some students have been there since the beginning.

All of Maverick Nation takes tremendous pride in the senior class who have received first place since their freshman year.

Saturday, March 24th, ECC's King, Everett Minton, and Queen, Maria Fernanda Cabanas, were proud to represent their school in the City of Eagle Pass' International Friendship Parade.

Mavericks and Eagles Celebrate Completion of EKG Program

Congratulations goes out to the EKG students from C.C. Winn and Eagle Pass High Schools for taking their certification exam. 

The EKG program is designed to educate students on how to measure the electrical activity of an individual's heart. 

Before students can even be considered to be a part of the EKG class, they have to undergo a three year process of required courses and criteria.

After months of rigorous hard work, the students were finally able to reap the fruits of their labor. 

They have completed a numerous classes, such as Principles of Health Science, Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, and many more with outstanding grades. 

Once again, congratulations to these students for the accomplishments that they have made throughout the year.
