Students at Memorial Junior High, and Eagle Pass Junior
High Schools recently learned about the importance of recycling in an
informative and fun way.
On May 11, the Superintendent Advisory
Council made a visit to both Junior High campuses and arranged for
the incoming freshman class to watch a presentation on the GO GREEN
EFFORT that has taken our District by storm. The "Go Green Team" presented on
protecting the environment through reusing, reducing and recycling everyday
materials. The message was reinforced when volunteers in the audience played an
activity for recyclable prizes.
