Eagle Pass High School's Freshmen Orientation or "Fish Camp" kicked off the 2016 - 2017 school year. Student Council's upper class men took time from their summer to plan and organize the event which took place on Friday August 12th from 9:30 am to 1 pm.The incoming 9th graders had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the campus as well as be advised on the many aspects of being a high school student at EPHS. EPHS hopes that this orientation will help the incoming students have a more successful school year.
StuCo would like to show deep appreciation and gratitude to our guest speakers: former EPHS StuCo member Brianna Carreon; our newest admin Mr. Luis Huerta; and our Head Counselor Mr. Luis Sifuentes for providing our Freshmen with some words of wisdom and guidance.
Many thanks to all the Freshmen that showed up, the parents who drove them to the camp, all the EPHS StuCo officers, StuCo members who participated, and Stuco sponsors. Thank you all for your support.
