Each year in August, Border Federal Credit Union in Eagle Pass holds their annual Teacher & School Administrator Appreciation Breakfast. At this event, both teachers and administrators have the opportunity to register to win a $500.00 scholarship. In addition, If the winner is a BFCU member, BFCU awarded an extra $100.00 gift card. This year, Seco Mines Elementary is excited that their very own 5th Grade teacher Mrs. E. De La Garza-Lopez was the lucky winner of $500 award plus an additional $100 for having a bank account with BFCU!
