Thursday, December 6th, Mrs. Torres Hdz had her English I students at CC Winn High School worked on a small four corners activity to help students with background knowledge on major themes and topics that will appear in "A Christmas Carol."
The students worked in groups to respond to open ended questions based on their point of view on certain social perspectives and provide a logical reason behind their perspective.
Afterwords students were given an individual anticipation guide about any perspective changes that may have taken place through the four corners activity.
Students enjoyed the discussion and will be tying these major themes in the weeks to come while working on their novel read.
