The Sluggers travel baseball team is composed of 3rd and 4th grade students from various EPISD schools.
Benavides Elem are Leandro Mares and Mason Villarreal, Cerna Elem are Brandon Esquivel, JC Salinas and Baldo Sandoval, Gallego Elem are Caleb Jimenez, Joaquin Montes and Joshua Montes, Perfecto Elem is Dimas Sanchez and Sam Houston is Osbaldo Tijerina.
The team traveled to Laredo for a two day fundraising baseball tournament.
The proceeds were for a young school aged baseball player battling Leukemia.
Thank you Sluggers for traveling to Laredo and participating in this benefit in which they came out 1st place as Tournament Champions.
