Students in Mrs. De Luna's pre-AP chemistry class at EPHS learned how to name and write formulas for ionic compounds.
Students used colored dice with different ions and rolled them to come up with different formulas.
They identified the cation and anion, wrote the formula and then named the ionic compound that they had rolled at random.
