On November 11th Veterans Day Graves Staff & Students would like to say THANK YOU to one of their own Heroes Jessica Rey Ramon - Veteran she enlisted in the US Army upon graduating from Eagle Pass High School.
She attended Basic Combat Training in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. Upon her Basic Combat Training completion she went on to Fort Sam Houston to begin her Combat Medic (91W) training.
While training and serving her country Jessica Ramon sustained some physical injuries which cut her 4 year enlistment short.
She was Honorably discharged and is a 60% disabled vet due to her injuries sustained while serving our country.
Jessica Ramon went on to take on a new career and has been teaching for the past 8 years and currently a Graves 4th grade teacher.
