AP Language and Composition students at CC Winn High School held an Argument SNACKdown on Thursday, October 31st.
Students developed complex thesis which defended their snack as superior to others.
They used the article "A History of American Snack Foods, From Waffle Cones to Doritos" to provide evidence to support their snack. Each student brought in their chosen snack and shared with their peers. Snacks ranged from "pan de muertos" to vegan popcorn to apples.
Students enjoy practicing writing defensible arguments while enjoy various treats.
