In the spirit of Winn's Homecoming theme, Winn's NHS chose "National Dog Day" as their national holiday.
On Wednesday, November 6th, The CC Winn National Honor Society partnered with local rescue nonprofit organization for their homecoming parade's display.
Some of The Buddy Foundation's rescue pups were given the chance to have some fun by riding and walking along side the NHS float.
NHS hoped to bring awareness to their community with their slogan "Adopt Don't Shop".
While there are various reasons why one should adopt a pet rather than shop for one, the number one reason is simple- a life will be saved.
Way to go Winn NHS!
