WHS Finds Different Ways to Argue

On November 18th, students in AP Language and Composition at WHS presented argumentative posters to their classmates.
Posters were based on the prompt selected by each team.
Prompts were based off of topics such as the role of humorists, the unknown, disobedience, certainty and doubt, etc.
Groups created their argumentative thesis statement, brainstormed reasons and specific evidence to present on their posters.
Students were able to see different argumentative structures and the effectiveness of different kinds of evidence that can be used in their individual essays.
Great job, Mavs!
