On Jan. 30, San Luis Elementary first & second grade teachers participated in a EPISD technology training. This training focused on the districts initiative to incorporate learning tools through technology. The use of google classrooms was discussed and reviewed for better efficiency and differentiation of instruction.

On January 31st, CC Winn High School's mariachi group, Mariachi Toro Azabache, performed several songs to celebrate the upcoming birthday of WHS Custodian, Mr. Tarin. Members of the group, who were available during 1st lunch, gathered to surprise Mr. Tarin, and their wonderful performance definitely made his day. Many thanks go to Mariachi Toro Azabache and CC Winn High School's Assistant Band Director, Mr. Perez, for making birthdays extra special at WHS!
