On Thursday, January 30th, EPHS' Physics Pre-AP students took to the hallways to complete their acceleration lab. Acceleration occurs when the velocity, or speed, of an object changes over time. To demonstrate this, the students revved up toy trucks. As the truck sped down the hallway, students calculated how much time it took the truck to pass various distances. The students worked together to create different graphs to represent the truck's motion.
