This
upcoming school year, Eagle Pass Independent School District will be hosting
its Anti-Bullying IMPACT Week February 24th – 28th. The
purpose of this week is to raise awareness of the dangers that bullying can do
to our students.
IMPACT
Week celebrates the awareness of gender tolerance, suicide prevention, and
physical/cyber bullying. Programs like these are helping move EPISD to the
fore-front of education systems by creating thoughtful and empathetic students
who can work harmoniously together without fear of judgment. IMPACT Week will consist
of a spirit week with dress up days, a video challenge that will help promote
the anti-bullying movement, and campus pledges.
Also, jeans will be allowed district-wide for staff that participates in this event!
