The CC Winn music program has continued to excel even through this pandemic. UIL and TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) have done a wonderful job of making accommodations to music competitions in order to keep everyone safe.
The students at CC Winn, auditioned for TMEA All-Region on December 5th-9th. The auditions were held virtually by means of submitting recordings of each student performing their All-Region Etudes. We had 33 students solidify their place as the best in Region 11. Students auditioned against schools such as: Harlandale HS, McCollum HS, Southwest HS, Southwest Legacy HS, Southside HS, Medina Valley HS, and Kennedy HS.
6 students advanced to Area Auditions in January.
