Eagle Pass Independent School
District has partnered with local businesses throughout our city to highlight
the Teacher of the Month program, which honors educators who have made a
difference in our community. The program recognizes outstanding kindergarten,
elementary, junior high, and high school teachers in Eagle Pass, Texas.
April's Teacher of the Month is none other than
RVLA's, Mrs. Luz Yvette Tobias. Mrs. Tobias is as loyal as they come, as she
has been a proud RVLA Little Giant since she received her degree in 2005. She
is an excellent example and supporter to her entire staff as she has taught
kinder for 11 years and even served as the Literacy Coach for 5
years. Mrs. Tobias is very resourceful and is always ready to share her
teaching techniques and skills with everyone around her.
The entire RVLA staff recognized her positive
attitude towards her profession and her willingness to help those out in need
around her. She is quick to volunteer her time with extra-curricular activities
such as; Fall Festivals and Literacy Nights. She is always ready and willing to
take on any challenge.
Her passions towards her students is admired by all
who witness it! She never gives up on any student's learning needs and this is
why they are successful! For all these reasons and more, Mrs. Luz Yvette
Tobias is Teacher of the Month.
