On Sunday, C. C. Winn High School was one of 300 schools from 44 states across the country to receive a $5,000 grant through the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries.
This year, the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries awarded $1.5 million in library grants.
Many of the
libraries will use the funds to update and diversify their collections.
“We are immensely thankful to have received this grant,” stated
Mrs. Emily Landin, C.C. Winn High School Librarian. “This grant will allow the
library to develop the collection so that it may better reflect our students
and their diverse interests.”
Congratulations!
