Eagle Pass High School Senior, Thomas J. Mares, better known to Eagles as TJ, signed his letter of intent on Tuesday, February 21st. TJ will be soaring into McMurry University in Abilene, Texas next fall.
TJ will be remembered at Eagle Pass High School as a playmaker with boundless agility and speed in game of football. Coaches recalled TJ's countless abilities in speaking of his commitment to the sport.
Mr. Luis Huerta, EPHS Principal, highlighted how humbly and grounded TJ carries himself on campus. Described as an incredibly hard worker, TJ is sure to succeed with every plan he envisions for himself.
