AFJROTC MARCHES ON

On Saturday April 22, 2023, AFJROTC cadets from CC Winn, Eagle Pass, and Del Rio High Schools, marched 6.3 miles to honor the military members that lost their lives during the 65-mile arduous march known as the Bataan Death March.

During WWII, a contingent of U.S. and Philippine soldiers fought and lost the Battle of Bataan. As a result, 75,000 Filipino and American soldiers were forced to walk 65 miles to prison camps.

Along the way, they were subjected to brutal treatment by Japanese guards.

An estimated 17,000 soldiers perished because of the Bataan Death March.

AFJROTC STOCKS PANTRIES

AFJROTC has done an amazing job working with the Eagle Pass Food Pantry this year.

The cadets currently hold the record for the most bags packed in a day 1,440!

Volunteering makes positive impacts on the community.

Unpaid volunteers are often the glue that holds a community together and help make it a better place.

Keep up the good work!
