Tip 1: Signs
There will be no decoration on the goal posts. Banners, signs, and replicas of school mascots shall be of a permanent nature, free standing and placed at a fixed point. Banners, signs, and replicas of school mascots are limited to student organizations and authorized booster club members. Paper banners or painted posters will not be allowed. All spirit signs must be tied to the stadium railing. The taping of signs to any stadium structure will not be permitted. Signs must not obstruct the view of the playing field. All signs must be in good taste and inoffensive.
Tip 2: Prohibited Items
EPISD Student Activity Center has implanted
a strict CLEAR BAG only policy at all their events. If you bring a bag that is
not clear you will be turned away and asked to leave your belongings in your
vehicle before entering. Balloons, confetti, confetti cannons, powder and all
similar items are not allowed. If you are found with them, they will be
confiscated. If you use them during the game you will be removed. This also
includes no outside food or drink i.e. coolers, ice chests, picnic baskets.
Schools and guests will not bring live animals in the stadium.
Tip 3: Safety
Presence on the field prior to and during the game, including half time, and after the game-apart from the players and those directly connected with the game-shall be limited to cheerleaders, flag detail, bands of participating teams, those essential to support the break through, photographers, media, and high school students associated with these activities. Spectators will not be allowed on the field before, during, or after the game. Absolutely no climbing over the rails from the bleachers to the field. There will be no crossing over by spectators from the home side of the stadium to the visitor’s side and visa versa.
Tip 4: Noisemakers
No
noisemakers, mechanical or otherwise, (including, but not limited to bullhorns,
air horns, cranks) and no musical instruments, other than those in the
participating bands and pep squads will allowed. Also, only the home team will be allowed use of the speakers.
In addition, powders, balloons, and/or confetti, or similar items will not be
allowed. Finally, fires of any kind are prohibited. This includes fireworks,
roman candles etc.
Tip 5: Carpooling and Traffic
Carpooling is strongly suggested due to the
heavy traffic that is always expected for this game. Due to this, we are asking
for spectators to please use the east entrance on 480. Taking Loop 480 to 277 will help divide
the traffic in front of the Student Activity Center and aid the process of
allowing vehicles to enter and exit the parking lot.
Tip 6: Reserved Seating
All tickets are non-refundable
and non-transferable. Everyone must have a ticket to enter the stadium. If you are buying tickets at the gate, no bills larger than $20 will be accepted. Anyone who
leaves the stadium will not be allowed to re-enter without purchasing another
ticket. Anyone sitting in the reserved section must have a reserved ticket regardless
of age. Please be ready to show your ticket when prompted. Reserved ticket holders are entitled to their seat the entire game.
Tip 7: UIL & District Rules
UIL & district rules will be enforced. Sportsmanship is expected from not only all those participating in the game, but the spectators as well. Circumstances which are viewed by stadium administrators as dangerous, damaging, or detrimental to the atmosphere of the game are absolutely prohibited and will be dealt with accordingly. If you are caught participating in anything that causes disruption to the game you will be asked to leave. This includes smoking or use of tobacco anywhere in the facility.
