EPHS Senior Class Brings Back Time Honored Tradition

On Saturday, November 5, 2016 Eagle Pass High School's Senior Class hosted the 1st annual Homecoming Dance as a closing event to a week full of activities.
The Senior Class Sponsors, officers, and members worked tirelessly all week to not only ensure the success of the Homecoming Dance, "Night Under the Texas Sky."
Under the leadership of class sponsors Priscilla Portillo and Jessica CastaƱeda, Class President Armando Trevizo, and Homecoming Dance Committee Chair Angelica Garza, the tradition has been restored at Eagle Pass High. Over 100 students attended the dance, and danced to DJ Javi’s atmosphere until the clock struck 12 and it was time to return home. EPHS' Alma Mater reads “the spirit of the Eagle is undying pride,” which happens to be the true definition of the Senior Class of 2017.
The event was a smashing success and thanks to the efforts of the Class of 2017, tradition has been restored to our district. This will go on hopefully for many more years to come and it will always be known that this Senior class is the one to thank.
Thank you to all the parents and staff who have supported us and let’s continue making this school year one to remember for the ages!
