November 17th Seco MInes Elementary continued their tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving with a Pow-wow. The Kickapoo Tribe have been a part of this tradition for some years now and The Miners are very thankful that they always make time to attend their humble school. Students and staff always appreciate their visit every year because they receive the opportunity to learn history, dances, music, traditions, and native life.
The 1st and 2nd graders students, along with their teachers got to learn and experience first hand some of the great cultural dances.
Seco Mines Elementary thanks The Kickapoo tribe and wants to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
