Everyone knows it's difficult to get back to work after being off for summer break, but Eagle Pass High School Student Council treated all staff to not one, but TWO teacher breakfasts in one week to make the transition a bit easier.
On Monday, August 21st, EPHS StuCo hosted a Coffee & Pan Dulce breakfast to welcome their beloved staff back to school. Student Council members wanted to sweeten their first day back to work.
A second breakfast was held on Friday, August 25th. This time StuCo offered all staff delicious tacos, fruit, yogurt, baked goods, coffee, juice, and water for everyone.
Knowing fully well that it was a teacher workday and everyone wanted to get back to their rooms to work, for a second year in a row StuCo opted for a "Tacos 2 Go" theme."We try to accommodate the needs of our staff," stated Dolores Rodriguez, StuCo Head Adviser.
Teachers and staff could choose to go by the cafeteria and pick up their breakfast and return to their rooms; or if they had the time, they could choose to linger and stay in the cafeteria to socialize.
Go Eagles!
