Love is in the air for the Seniors in Mrs. Mercer’s and Mr. Rocha’s English IV classes at C. C. Winn High as they had the seemingly simple task of writing a Valentine’s Day Letter for a significant other.
For this letter, the students were asked to write a woven letter-formatted essay in which they had to embed lyrics of songs to express their thoughts and feelings for this special person.
The students produced heartfelt letters while simultaneously creating a mashup of their sentiments with the songs they found fitting for the content of their writing.
