Eagle Pass High School would like to send a hearty congratulations to Edwin Pua, Luisana Cortes, and Fernanda Gonzalez for their spectacular showing at UIL Regionals on Saturday, April 14th at the University of Texas - San Antonio.
Edwin is the proud 1st place winner in Calculator Applications and General Mathematics!
This young man defied the odds and not only competed in his first Regionals competition but dominated it as well!
A special thanks and congratulations to EPHS UIL Coordinator, Mr. Marquez and Math Coach, Mr. Soto for guiding Edwin in this amazing journey.Luisana Cortez, took 2nd place at the UIL Academics Literary Criticism and teammate, Fernanda Gonzalez, managed to nab the 5th place spot.
Congratulations to their coach Patricia Villaseñor as well!
The trio's next stop is STATE which will be held at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
