Tuesday, December 11th, C.C. Winn NHS members Arleth Herrera, Paulette Rios, and Alfonso Martinez visited Mrs. Robledo’s 6th grade class at Robert E. Lee Elementary as part of their Guiding Angels program.
The trio presented lessons on sharing, caring, and giving to correlate with the holiday season.
The students were able to share examples and personal experiences that related to the lessons. Afterwards the Guiding Angels provided two fun activities for the children.
The Guiding Angels had the Rebels create their own Christmas lists and make a delicious snowman out of marshmallows, icing, pretzels, and M&Ms.
As a token of appreciation, Mrs. Robledo’s class gifted each Angel with several hand crafted Christmas cards with sweet notes inside.
