Tuesday, December 11th, CC Winn UIL Spelling Coach Brenda Carrillo gave her team a practice test that contained the exact same elements as a real one to gauge where they are at.
The students practice every Tuesday and Thursday after school for an hour.
They are also able to access online programs, Hexco and ASW Bee, so they can practice at home. The goal is to memorize all 1500 words and definitions.
Saturday, December 15th, C.C. Winn High School UIL Academics teams will travel to their first UIL invitational meet of the 2018-2019 school year at United High School in Laredo.
