Friday, January 18th, students and staff were welcomed at Darr by none other than Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore!
Students along with parents were excited to see the characters waving and welcoming the students.
January 18th is "Winnie the Pooh" author, A.A. Milne's birthday and Darr wanted to recognize this great day!
Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore went class to class spreading birthday cheer and reminding students how important this silly, old bear is to literature.
This was a great way to honor a beloved author, but also promote reading.
