Monday, January 14th, Eagle Pass High School held a National Letter of Intent ceremony for Sergio Hernandez.
Sergio signed a letter of commitment to run Cross Country for the University of Texas - Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas.
Members of Sergio's family, coaches, friends, and EPHS staff were all present during this wonderful ceremony.
EPHS Principal, Mr. Cox, would like to convey the pride he and his campus feel when they see their athletes getting these opportunities.
Less than 1% of high school athletes become collegiate athletes and EPHS is so proud of Sergio for joining these amazing ranks.
