Eagle Pass ISD Police Department attended a firearms training January 14th - 15th.
The training focused on accuracy and trigger control and led by Firearms Instructors Crestino Ynosencio and Marco Diaz.
EPISD is proud to say that the Eagle Pass ISD Police Department has their own firearms instructors and will continue to train as often as possible.
Assistant Chief of Police Ynosencio said this about the training,"Even though this was not a firearms competition training, I'd like to mention that out of a group of approximately 28 there were four officers who did outstanding in their shooting training. Lead Officer Ignacio Vasquez, Officer Joe Ramos, Officer Joe De La Garza and Officer Rudy Valdez performed a perfect score in the course hitting all targets, congratulations!"
Eagle Pass Independent School District Police Department is committed to providing each officer with the training, resources and opportunities necessary to achieve their full potential.
Thank you EPISD Police Department for your commitment and dedication!
