CC Winn English II Pre-AP students in Ms. Cruz’ class were tasked to read To Kill a Mockingbird before the first day of class.
Wednesday, January 10th, as an introduction to informational texts, they were asked to complete a newspaper front page that would’ve been printed during the novel’s era.
Students produced great results.
They kept in mind other events in history that linked to the novel, such as the Great Depression, and added them into the project.
Way to go Mavs, you’re off to a great start!
