Monday, April 29th, Ms. Roman's Practicum in Education and Training students received an informational visit from the Wintergarden Women's Shelter.
Mrs. Carolina Gonzalez, Sexual Assault Advocate and Case Manager with Maverick County Outreach Office spoke with the students about healthy and unhealthy relationships.
She also spoke about where to turn to for help should they or someone they know is in this type of toxic environment.
The students would like to thank Mrs. Gonzalez for opening their eyes and providing them with valuable information.
