Thursday, April 25th, students in Mrs. Torres-Hernandez' class at Winn began the writing process for their research essays.
Students worked in class to fill-in a structured organizer with the information that they wanted to present in their essays.
They also discussed the usage of a works cited and looked for credible information in their sources that could be used to support their main ideas and points of view.
The research process is something difficult for students, however, Mrs. Torres hopes that this small activity will help them have some idea of what it takes to research and write persuasive in preparation for next year!
