Mrs. E. Salinas' 4th grade homeroom class at Darr began their day with daily quick write.
They were practicing the first step in the writing process, prewriting.
They are learning to brainstorm ideas into their journals that will help them with future writing assignments.
They shared about their pet peeves and frustrating school moments.
They really enjoyed hearing about their teacher's pet peeves and school frustrating moments.
Afterwards they shared their quick writes with each other and were able to add more ideas to their journals.
This was a great writing moment for these 4th graders. Some were heard saying, "I like this."
