When given the opportunity to earn extra credit by watching the movie "Harriet", EPHS student Monserrat Garcia called the local movie theater to find out when they would be bringing it to Eagle Pass.
Sadly she was informed that it was not on the schedule to come to our town.
This bit of information did not deter her and Miss Garcia contacted the production company about how she and her fellow classmates can view this film.
The Production company replied back and informed Monserrat that they will be providing a free screening of the movie for her and 150 of her classmate free of charge at the local movie theater.
On Wednesday, November 20, 2019; Monserrat and 149 of her fellow classmates hopped on a school bus and were able to watch a free screening of the movie "Harriet".
Awesome job Monserrat.
