Students learned that sedimentary rocks are formed by compaction and cementation.
They also learned that some sedimentary rocks have fossils in them. The two fossils that they are looking at were found outside the campus at Ray H. Darr Elementary.
Students found out that the school was built on an area where there was a lake.
