Collaborated Learning and Peer Critiquing at CC Winn High School
Students in Ms. Rebecca Mancha's English ll Classes worked in collaborated groups; on writing a Persuasive Essay. Students, worked in pairs writing about whether they should stay in their hometown and attend college, or go away and attend college in a different city. Before starting they brainstormed creating list of pros and cons on the topic. Once completed they took a side and wrote a complete essay with their partner. After completing the essay, the class rotated around the room reading each other�s essays and peer critiqued them using ratiocination.
