As C.C. Winn students continue to learn and prepare for their EOC exams, Mrs. Idalia Salinas' students took a different approach to practice identifying figurative language. Using the song, "Consequences" by Camila Cabello, they watched the music video and followed along with the lyrics. Tuesday, February 18, they paired up and looked for similes, metaphors, and personification examples in the song. As a way to help the students be successful in identifying the figurative language, Mrs. Salinas reviewed the concepts so that they would have them fresh in their minds. The students found it to be a fun activity with some learning sprinkled in. Go Mavericks
