Migrant Director Named AMET Regional Director

Eagle Pass ISD would like to take this time to congratulate Migrant Director, Mr. Timoteo Chaires, for being named Regional Director with AMET!

AMET, Association for Migrant Educators of Texas, is a non-profit organization that supports migrant educators of Texas to ensure that every migrant student in Texas has access to a quality education. AMET empowers individuals at the national, state, and local levels as they equip each child with the skills and resources necessary to be successful.

Mr. Chaires was nominated and selected as the Region 20 Regional Director, which allows him to give voice to not only our Eagle Pass ISD educators and students, but all of Region 20!

Congratulations Mr. Chaires on this amazing and well-deserved honor!
