EPHS Eagles had a rare opportunity to mingle with their friendly rivals the Mavericks at EPISD's First Annual Meet & Greet on September 8, 2016 at the Student Activity Center's Fine Arts Auditorium. This event was part of EPISD's Unity Week and everyone had a congenial time.
Present at the event were the Eagle and Maverick football players and coaches. Also attending were senior representatives from the cheerleaders, dance teams, National Honor Society, and Student Councils from both schools, plus their sponsors, parents, boosters clubs, as well as administrators and the local media.
The media was given an opportunity to question members from both school's football teams, coaches, and administrators.
