Seco Mines Creates Pumpkin Masterpieces

"He's such a character!" You may have heard that phrase before when it refers to someone who is mischievous or funny, however characters can be so much more than that! Seco Mines Elementary recently created a project that helped young readers identify key details in a story. Often, in books for young readers, the characters are animals, so the school used pumpkins to show characters from various books. The Miners would like to thank all the parents for their participation in these projects! Thanks to the efforts of parents, staff, and students the project was a smashing success.
