December 7th Eagle Pass ISD Special Education Department will be hosting the 2016 Special Olympics Bowling Tournament at Desert Lanes Bowling Alley. This inter-campus competition among secondary and middle schools is one of the most important events of the year for students participating in the Special Education program and it has been a tradition for many years. Bowling is among the most popular sports in Special Olympics. It is a particularly beneficial sport to students with intellectual disabilities, irrespective of their age or sports ability, since it ensures physical exercise and at the same time participation and social integration.
