GT Teachers Present Lessons Created by Texas State University
On Thursday December 8th, Eagle Pass Independent School District's G.T. teachers presented lessons created by Texas State University at Seco Mines Elementary. The lessons were made in conjunction with The Texas Alliance for Geographic Education using The Giant Traveling Map of Texas. Thanks to this opportunity the G.T. students had were able to explore the cities, counties, rivers, natural resources, and topography of Texas using hands-on activities as well as teacher led discussion.
